3rd Advisory Meeting

During this advisory meeting, we talked about what kind of PSA we would make in our respective groups. Our two choices were either make a PSA on hallway etiquette or on the dangers of texting while driving. Jon Melhorn believed that the texting while driving was a more beneficial announcment to make. I thought it was cliché and we should pick something that not everyone has talked about and that was a big issue in our school. People in our school have a bad habit of standing in the middle of the hallway during busy times of the day or walking to slowly, taking up the whole width of the hallway, or most importantly, walking against the flow of traffic. Mr. BG had agreed that we should do the hallway etiquette PSA because it was a light topic with a bit of humor that had importance in our school.

2nd Advisory Meeting

On our second advisory meeting, our group, consisting of another Jon (Jon M's Advisory Blog) and Travis (Travis's Blog), talked about the possibility of making a PSA for our school announcements. Our topics that we discussed were the possibilities of a PSA involving the importance of not texting while driving, the dangers of using illegal substances, and the etiquette of walking in the hallways (for the current freshman and people who stand in the hallways like traffic cones without cause). We haven't decided what PSA we will be doing but it's between texting and driving and hallway walking etiquette. We will develop one of these PSA's once the Tiger Times announcements are up in the morning.
